County Agricultural Investment Program (CAIP)
The County Agricultural Investment Program (CAIP) is designed to provide farmers with incentives to allow them to improve and diversify their current production practices. CAIP is a program of the KY Agricultural Development Fund (KADF) and is funded by the Tobacco Settlement Fund, part of the Master Settlement Agreement (MSA).

Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)
EQIP is a federal program offered by NRCS. It provides financial and technical assistance to agricultural producers in order to address natural resource concerns and deliver environmental benefits such as improved water and air quality, conserved ground and surface water, reduced soil erosion and sedimentation or improved or created wildlife habitat.

State Cost Share
The Kentucky Soil Erosion and Water Quality Cost Share Program and the Kentucky Soil Stewardship Program were created to help agricultural operations protect the soil and water resources of Kentucky and to implement their agriculture water quality plans. The program helps landowners address existing soil erosion, water quality and other environmental problems associated with their farming or woodland operation.
