Environmental Education Grants
The Butler County Conservation Board has a goal to educate others and to support others who educate the community about the conservation of our natural resources. That is why the Butler County Conservation District Board of Supervisors has allocated up to $1500 to provide materials for projects related to conservation education in Butler County Schools. The projects are to be designed to educate students about the conservation of our natural resources and how it affects our community.

These are just a few ideas for projects; there are many more possibilities to choose from – as long as the project pertains to educating students about the conservation of our natural resources.
The District will request a report on the project upon completion and a copy of all receipts from the project. The projects may continue for more than one school year, but if so, a report should be made at the end of each year to the District Board about the progress of the project.
